Water Service
The City of Evansville Water Department provides water service to most of Vanderburgh County. Its treatment plant has a total capacity of 62 million gallons per day (MGD), with excess capacity of 32 MGD. The northwest corner of the county is served by the German Township Water District. The rest of the region is supplied by a number of municipal Water Departments.
Sewer Systems
The City of Evansville Sewer Department provides sewer service to the county. Its two treatment plants have a total capacity of 38.6 million gallons per day (MGD), and total excess capacity of 5.7 MGD.
